Protecting your personal data is important to us. This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit and shop at Ravolintix, why we collect it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and German data protection law.

2.1 Data you give us

Order and customer data: for example your name, billing and delivery address, email address and phone number.

Payment data: the information needed to process your payment. Payment details such as card numbers are entered directly with our payment service providers and are not stored by us.

Customer account data: if you create an account, your login details and order history.

Communication data: the content of emails, contact form messages or other messages you send us.

Newsletter data: your email address, if you sign up for our newsletter.

2.2 Data we collect automatically

When you visit our website, your browser automatically sends technical information to our server. This includes your IP address, date and time of access, the pages you view, the website you came from, the browser and operating system you use, and similar technical data. We need this information to display our website correctly and to keep it secure.

2.3 Data from other sources

If you contact us through social media platforms, we may receive information about you from that platform, such as your user name and the content of your message.


3. WHY WE PROCESS YOUR DATA AND ON WHAT LEGAL BASIS

To process your order and deliver your products, including payment, shipping, returns and customer service. Legal basis: performance of a contract, Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

To manage your customer account, if you choose to create one. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

To answer your questions and requests. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where your request relates to a contract, otherwise our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

To send you our newsletter and marketing emails, only if you have given your consent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

To operate, secure and improve our website. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a functioning and secure online store, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

To analyse website use and show you relevant advertising, only with your consent. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR and Section 25 (1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).

To comply with legal obligations, for example retention obligations under commercial and tax law. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR.

To prevent fraud and enforce our legal rights. Legal basis: our legitimate interest, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.


4. WHO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH

We only share your personal data where this is necessary for the purposes described above:

Shipping carriers: we pass on your name, delivery address and, where needed for delivery notifications, your email address or phone number to the carrier delivering your order.

Payment service providers: to process your payment, we share the necessary order and payment data with the payment provider you select at checkout. These providers process your data under their own privacy policies.

Hosting and technical service providers: our online store is hosted by external service providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

Email and newsletter service providers: if you sign up for our newsletter, your email address is processed by our newsletter service provider on our behalf.

Authorities: if we are legally required to do so, we may disclose data to public authorities.

We do not sell your personal data.


5. COOKIES AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device.

Necessary cookies are required for our store to work, for example to keep items in your shopping cart and to complete checkout. We use them on the basis of Section 25 (2) TDDDG and our legitimate interest under Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

All other cookies, such as those for analytics or marketing, are only set if you have given your consent through our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie settings on our website. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some features of our store may then no longer work properly.


6. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE THE EU

Some of our service providers may process data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. In such cases, we make sure that an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed, for example through an adequacy decision of the European Commission or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.


7. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We store your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Order and invoice data must be kept for up to ten years under German commercial and tax law. Newsletter data is stored until you unsubscribe. Customer account data is stored until you delete your account, unless statutory retention obligations apply. Server log data is deleted after a short period, unless it is needed to investigate a security incident.


8. YOUR RIGHTS

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

Right of access to the personal data we hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR).
Right to rectification of incorrect data (Art. 16 GDPR).
Right to erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR).
Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR).
Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR).
Right to withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR).

9. DATA SECURITY

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Our website uses SSL/TLS encryption, which you can recognise by the lock symbol in your browser's address bar. Please note that no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.


10. CHILDREN

Our store is not aimed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we learn that we have collected such data without the consent of a parent or guardian, we will delete it as soon as possible.


11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this privacy policy from time to time, for example when we introduce new services or when legal requirements change. The current version is always available on our website.
